In recreating my website, my bibliography survived, but my art acknowledgments were lost.
I’ve picked a few images by artists that I’ve used extensively and put them up here.
If there is a specific image from the website or the trailers that you love, I will try to find the artist for you.
Below is a great favorite by decadent Montmartre artist Adolphe Willette.
And Steinlen is everywhere in Montmartre.

Art by Vincent Van Gogh appears on many pages.

Santiago Russinol was a new discovery for me. He did many paintings of the Moulin de la Galette.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec also celebrated Montmartre in his paintings and iconic posters.
Here is Monet’s “Impression” which began it all….
Maximilien Luce is not as well known but is a great favorite, especially his night paintings.
